Crawl Space Dehumidification in Athens, Gainesville & Augusta, GA
From 90% outside to under 60% below.
A sealed crawl space still drifts damp in a Georgia summer. A dehumidifier sized to your space holds the line on its own.
A Georgia August, measured
Numbers from the Athens airport weather station, up US-441 from us in Madison.
The dehumidifier's job is the gap between the red bar and the first white line, through the humid months, without anyone crawling down to check it.

Too small, too big, or right.
The unit has to match the square footage and how tightly the space is sealed. We measure both on the free inspection.
Never catches up
The space stays damp through August no matter how long it runs.
Holds the line
Set the target once and it keeps the space there, draining on its own so there is nothing to empty.
Short-cycles
It flips on and off without pulling much water out, and wastes power doing it.

“No over selling, just pricing what you actually need for your individual crawlspace needs.”
“After interviewing multiple vendors I selected Crawlspace Doctors. Their pricing was very reasonable, and the results are excellent.”
Measure the air. Then size the unit.
A dehumidifier is only as good as the sizing and the seal around it.

Dehumidifier questions
In our climate, usually yes. Encapsulation cuts the moisture load a lot, but Georgia summers are humid enough that a sealed space can still drift up without active control. On a smaller or naturally dry space we will tell you honestly if you can skip it.
A right-sized unit only runs as much as it needs to hold your target humidity, so it costs far less to run than one that is too small or too big for the space. We size it to keep runtime down.
That depends on the square footage, how well the space is sealed, and how much moisture is present. Rather than guess, we measure during the free inspection and size the unit to your actual crawl space.

A dehumidifier works best in a sealed space. If your vents are still open, start there.
